Muro is two municipalities in one: the Pla town, with its manor houses and cloister, and Platja de Muro, one of the largest concentrations of four and five star hotels in the north.
On the beach the calendar is the usual one: work with the hotel closed, November to March, and the opening date not up for discussion. There is a lot of room refurbishment here and buffet kitchens, which are another level of extraction.
In the town the houses are large, stone built and high ceilinged, and there are plenty of cellers and restaurants in the centre.
The humidity from s'Albufera shows across the whole area, so duct insulation and detailing need more care than usual.
We cover the whole municipality, including Platja de Muro, Muro, s'Albufera and Son Serra.
Here the season rules. The hotel closes, there is a works window from November to March, and the opening date does not move. Everything is organised around that date.
That is why we fabricate in the workshop. By the time the hotel closes, the ductwork is already cut and prepared. What happens inside is assembly, not fabrication, and that cuts days on site, which is the only thing that really matters in a closed season.
We are 5 technicians on the payroll, so we can put crews on several floors at once and hold a real deadline, without subcontracting to someone who turns up when they can.
Rooms, public areas and the kitchen are three different jobs. In rooms it is silence and maintenance access that matter. In public areas, airflow and finish. And in the kitchen it is extraction in stainless steel, with make-up air and roof discharge.
And we work as a trade supplier to air-conditioning firms and installers who have won the contract and need someone to fit the ductwork. If that is you, say so when you call and we will talk trade rates directly.
The Pla works differently from the coast. Here the village house is large with high ceilings, and that normally works in your favour: there is room to run the ductwork without dropping the ceiling in a way anyone notices.
The survey costs nothing. We come to Muro, measure what is there, and within 48 hours you have the quote in writing, with the metres, the materials and the days on site. What we sign is what you pay.

The airflow changes and so does the make-up air. A buffet with several cooking islands extracts a great deal, and if the same amount does not come in, the dining room goes into depression and the smell travels into the public areas. It is calculated by cooking points, not by floor area.
That is exactly the window we work to. The ductwork is fabricated in the workshop before the closure, so inside it is only assembly. The sooner we survey, the more margin there is.
