Campos is a large farming town, cattle and vegetables, and at the same time it has Sa Ràpita and Es Trenc, among the best known beaches on the island.
In recent years Campos has filled with high-end renovated fincas: large farmhouses turned into luxury homes or agrotourism, with budgets and expectations of finish that did not exist here before.
That is today the most common job: a fully renovated estate, with large rooms, high ceilings and the installation completely hidden.
And in Sa Ràpita the profile is seasonal houses and sailing, with the usual salt air and calendar.

The Pla works differently from the coast. Here the village house is large with high ceilings, and that normally works in your favour: there is room to run the ductwork without dropping the ceiling in a way anyone notices.
The converted finca is the most common job. Farmhouses with tiled roofs over cane structures, thick walls and large rooms of awkward proportions. Ducted air is what works best there, because one properly distributed unit conditions what separate wall units would leave uneven.
Agrotourism has its own demand: silence. The guest is paying to sleep in the countryside hearing nothing, so we size by air velocity and not only by airflow, and in bedrooms we avoid putting the unit above the bed.
And the inland summer is harder than the coastal one. With no sea breeze, July and August build up several degrees more, and equipment sized casually falls short exactly when it is needed most.
Right by the sea an installation does not age the same way. The air carries chlorides, and chloride eats the zinc off galvanised steel well before its time. Ductwork that would last inland starts pitting here within a few years.
