Alcúdia has two things at once that rarely go together: a walled medieval old town and one of the largest concentrations of hotels in the north of the island.
In the Port and on the beach the work is pure hotel work, on the usual calendar: quote in autumn, work with the hotel closed, opening in spring. Rooms, public areas and kitchen — three different jobs on the same site.
Inside the walls it is another world: 16th and 17th century stone houses, many listed, where the duct has to find its way without touching the facade or the courtyard.
And Alcanada, Bonaire and Mal Pas are seafront villas with the bay's salt air hitting them all year.
We cover the whole municipality, including Port d'Alcúdia, Alcanada, Bonaire, Mal Pas and Platja d'Alcúdia.
Here the season rules. The hotel closes, there is a works window from November to March, and the opening date does not move. Everything is organised around that date.
That is why we fabricate in the workshop. By the time the hotel closes, the ductwork is already cut and prepared. What happens inside is assembly, not fabrication, and that cuts days on site, which is the only thing that really matters in a closed season.
We are 5 technicians on the payroll, so we can put crews on several floors at once and hold a real deadline, without subcontracting to someone who turns up when they can.
Rooms, public areas and the kitchen are three different jobs. In rooms it is silence and maintenance access that matter. In public areas, airflow and finish. And in the kitchen it is extraction in stainless steel, with make-up air and roof discharge.
And we work as a trade supplier to air-conditioning firms and installers who have won the contract and need someone to fit the ductwork. If that is you, say so when you call and we will talk trade rates directly.
Right by the sea an installation does not age the same way. The air carries chlorides, and chloride eats the zinc off galvanised steel well before its time. Ductwork that would last inland starts pitting here within a few years.
The survey costs nothing. We come to Alcúdia, measure what is there, and within 48 hours you have the quote in writing, with the metres, the materials and the days on site. What we sign is what you pay.

Normally yes. The route is usually the internal courtyard, reaching the roof without touching the facade. But in the Alcúdia old town the building's listing has to be checked before ordering anything, and we check that at the survey.
That is exactly the window we work to. The ductwork is fabricated in the workshop before the closure, so inside it is only assembly. The sooner we survey, the more margin there is.
